Join our CAB!
Rise lab is currently seeking Community Advisory Board (CAB) members to advise on health equity research with Black and Latinx transgender people.
Dr. Tonia Poteat and her team in the Research in Sexual and Gender Minority Equity (RISE) Lab at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill are looking for community advisors to join our CAB. Our research centers on the health of Black and Latinx transgender people. We also provide gender affirming training and resources to people who work in health care, and we are working to create resources to help transgender people across the South access gender affirming health care.
If you have lived and/or job experience that could support our work and would like to join our CAB, please fill out the CAB interest form and we will get back to you or contact our Research Coordinator, Jenny Williams, firstname.lastname@example.org.
